about

Trainhopper tells the story of a fugitive on the run, from what we don't know, but her ending is not a happy one.

lyrics

Step out back into the blinding sunlight
I've beeen running for days, running day and night
Tried to change my hair, my clothes, my name
After all this time it remains the same

I've heard if you don't care where you're headed
You can hop a train
Rolling like a stone in the night
Feeling less than sane

Outrunning my demons left and right
Keep going till you see the morning light
Till you reach mountains and streams unnamed
After all this time this girl can never be tamed.

I've heard if you don't care where you're headed
You can hop a train
Rolling like a stone in the night
Feeling less than sane

Caught me out back in the blinding morning light
There'll be no more running after tonight
So tell my story, say my name
I'll be spending the rest of my life in chains
